Hours:
Monday: Closed
Tuesday – Wednesday: 11am – 8pm
Thursday - Friday: 11am – 9pm
Saturday: 10:30am – 9pm
Sunday: 10:30 – 3:30 pm
Forms of payment:
Cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Wedge + Fig gift cards.
Reservations:
We take reservations in the evenings, after 5pm. At other times, if there's a waiting list for a
table, we're happy to take your cell phone number and call you when we can seat you.
That way, you can peruse the shops and galleries in Old City. Or take pictures of Elfreth's
Alley. If you've never dined with us, be aware that we're a small place. Parties larger than six
will be seated at separate, adjacent tables. We also do not seat large parties in the garden.
Brunch:
Served Saturday and Sunday from 10:30am to 3pm.
BYOB Code:
We allow customers to bring their own wine or beer for their own consumption. No liquor
over 19% alcohol is allowed. Proper ID proving age of all those drinking is required. We do
not allow anyone under 21 to drink at Wedge + Fig. We monitor consumption and will stop
serving any customer who becomes intoxicated.
Dress Code:
We're a pretty casual place. Sweatpants wouldn't be our choice to wear in public, but if you
want to rock that look, we're willing to withhold comment.
Child-Friendly:
We have no special menus, but well-behaved customers of all ages are always welcome. A
booster seat is available, but no highchair.
Dog- Friendly:
It depends on the dog. The Health Department says we can't have dogs inside the
restaurant, but well-behaved furry companions are always welcome outside in our garden.
We have water bowls for those hot summer days and it's pretty likely someone will ask if
they're allowed to eat bacon.
Parking:
There's kiosk-paid street parking and there are several lots in the immediate area. The closest
is half a block away, on the south side of Race Street, between Third and Fourth. Don't ask
us to parse the parking signs. We don't own a car and we haven't been able to decipher what
they REALLY mean yet.
Wheelchair Accessible:
Wedge + Fig is somewhat accessible, we just need to give you a boost up the stoop, which
is one step. Ask. We're always happy to lend a hand. Our restroom does not meet ADA
standards.
Special Dietary Requests:
Our servers are happy to guide you through our menu regarding allergies and food
preferences. Our kitchen regularly cooks with nuts, but we'll do everything we can to
minimize your exposure. Gluten-free and vegetarian are easy-squeezey. Dairy-free's a tough
one, though, as is vegan. We are a cheese shop after all.
Private Parties:
We are available for private parties on Tuesday-Thursday afternoon and evening. Please contact us at cheese@wedgeandfig.com to
discuss your details. Or just call: (267)603-3090
Catering:
We offer catering for events both small and large. Please see our menu pages for
sandwiches and salads available. If you have an event you would like to discuss, please
contact us at cheese@wedgeandfig.com. Or by phone: (267) 603-3090
Delivery:
Currently we only deliver to the immediate neighborhood and, during busy hours, we may not
even be able to do that. With advance notice we can also deliver through our friends down the street at One Hour Messaenger. They charge a reasonable fee for delivery in Center City.
